    Linton Music Festival one of Indiana's biggest festivals featuring music of many different genres, from blues to rock and roll.

    Marsh Madness at Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area in Linton is an annual event celebrating this prime habitat for migrating birds and sandhill cranes. Activities at the fair include tree climbing, birds of prey and live snake exhibits, tours of the wetlands, arts and crafts, kids' activities, and speakers.

    The Shawnee Summer Theatre in Bloomfield is the oldest summer theatre in the state, continuously running since 1960. The players perform 6 productions during their 10 week season.

    The town of Bloomfield offers a fairly unique annual event in the form of town-wide yard sales; with over 80 participants and money being raised for local charities, this is a popular event.

    The Bloomfield Apple Festival celebrates the apple, of course, and also just general family fun through live music, games and carnival rides, art and photography exhibits, a 5K run, contests, a car show, and a parade on the last of the 3 days. This annual fest is usually held in October.

    The Shoals Catfish Festival in Shoals, near Loogootee, features catfish fishing and cooking contests, a parade and fireworks, beauty contests, corn-hole and game tournaments, and live music. It is an annual event that usually occurs over 4th of July weekend.

    Carnegie Heritage & Arts Center in Linton offers art and music workshops to the community and houses memorabilia from the personal collection of old time Hollywood actors, comedians, and radio star couple, Alice Faye and Phil Harris. Harris was originally from Linton.
